Mounts
If you catch a fish which you would like to have mounted, the captain can give you all the necessary information and will make arrangements with the taxidermist. You may release your fish and still have it mounted. Catch and release mounts are common today and are recommended.

Fish
The fish you catch (excluding billfish and shark) belong to you. The first mate will be happy to fillet them for you if they are edible. Any unwanted fish are always greatly appreciated by the crew.

Toilet Facilities
Our boats are equipped with marine toilets (heads) which have valve systems that cannot handle cotton or other undigested materials, as they will clog the system. Please be extremely careful about what you throw in the head.

Attire
As conditions can change on the water, you should bring with you: some long clothes to protect yourself from the sun and a jacket in case it gets cool (mainly fall and winter season). Hard-soled, leather, flip-flops and high-heeled shoes are slippery and dangerous. A soft rubber-soled shoe is recommended. Polarized sunglasses and a hat or visor are also recommended.

Suntan Lotion
Tanning oils and other oil-based lotions are not allowed on the boats. They stain the fighting chair and couch cushions and make the deck slippery. They also contaminate the reels, line and rod grips and make them difficult to hold. there are many water-based sun screens and blocks that provide excellent protection without the mess.
