About Captain Hook Charters

Captain Hook Charters has been a family owned and operated business for three decades. Heck, we've been running fishing charters longer that most of our competitors has even had their license. Over the years we have caught fish for thousands of people from all over the world. Many of those were fathers bringing their young sons and daughters fishing for the first time. Now it's those same sons and daughters bringing their fathers, husbands and families back to us, for that great fishing experience they remember! Fishing for over two decades has given us a lot of insight as to what people expect from a fishing charter. So, whether you're coming with your fishing buddies, a corporate group or your family, we've got what you need. Our main goal has been to perfect this experience, and by doing so, it has given us the opportunity to offer some of the best fishing in the country. In our dedication to provide the best fishing experience possible, we have carefully selected captains and crew which reflect the same integrity that we have maintained from the beginning. About the Island Hooker

Aboard the boat you will find 2 clean rest rooms and a large newly remodeled air conditioned salon for your comfort. The salon has plenty of comfortable seating and can keep you out of the sun, or help you stay dry if it rains. The fishing cockpit in back is one of the largest unobstructed cockpits to be found and has comfortable seating for your entire party. You can also choose to join the Captain on the flybridge on your way out of the Harbor. Unlike most other charter boats, we have plenty of comfortable cushioned seating on the flybridge for your enjoyment. The boat can sleep eight people comfortably, so we have plenty of room for any passengers who would like to cruise multiple days to the Bahamas or Florida Keys.

Fishing With Us

While fishing on the Island Hooker we will be employing the latest in electronics, tackle and techniques. We like to use light tackle and do a lot of stand up fishing, which allows you to fight the fish (not winch them in). But don't worry, we do have and will use a fighting chair if needed (not everybody can handle these amazing fish on their feet!) We specialize in catching fish for families and fishing buddies as well as corporate outings. We can even schedule multiple boats for large groups. (Please note however that we cannot guarantee fish on the other boats.) Whether it's kite fishing for sailfish with live bait, trolling for dolphin, king mackerel and wahoo or deep dropping for swordfish or shark, we will always try our hardest to do what it takes to make your trip a success! You will be instructed on the proper techniques from hook up to landing.. We furnish practically everything you need while on the water. Most charters like to call it an "executive trip" and charge you extra for snacks and beverages. We not only furnish the snacks and beverages, but we also include rods, reels, tackle, rigged baits, ice, fishing license, fish cleaning all at no extra charge! Should you happen to land that trophy you have always dreamed about, the crew will be happy to assist you in getting it mounted. We use several reputable taxidermists that make replica mounts so you do not have to kill the fish!
